Paris offers an advertising campaign for tourism in Tunisia

Following the bomb attack Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at Bardo Museum, Anne Hidalgo, mayor of Paris has moved to Tunisia, another French personality to make the move to express the solidarity of the French with our country.

Anne Hidalgo then returned to the terrorist attack that targeted the headquarters of Charlie Hebdo in Paris, there are two months to emphasize that terrorism can strike at any time and anywhere in the world. She did not fail to recall, too, that during the attack the mayor of Tunis immediately contacted also to show solidarity.

Thus, as a sign of gratitude to Tunisia and to the mayor of Tunis, she offered to perform a free advertising campaign to promote tourism in Tunisia. To do this, it would make available Tunisia placards and billboards in the city of Paris in order to promote tourism in Tunisia. Through this initiative it wants to encourage the French to come to Tunisia, "the French must arrive en masse; it must be demonstrated that democracies are stronger than the terrorists, "she says.
To reassure even more tourists and Tunisian Anne Hidalgo said that the meeting of the general assembly of all francophonies mayors held in Tunisia will take place in October. This meeting will host 150 mayors from various Francophone countries in order to say no to terrorism: "It is in such situations that we must unite, it is in these trials reinforce relations" has-t she added.

Furthermore, the mayor of Paris went to pray at the site of the attack, at the Bardo Museum where a score of tourists of various nationalities were murdered and forty were injured there. Mme. Hidalgo y filed two bouquets of flowers.

Then Anne Hidalgo was received by the Head of Government Habib Essid and Interior Minister Mohamed Najem Gharsalli. She was accompanied by his assistant Patrick Klugman, responsible for international relations and the Mayor of Tunise and François Gouyette, Ambassador of France to Tunisia Government Palace of the Kasbah.
